I cannot believe the information that my daughter was able to communicate to me at only one year! Even though she had only a few spoken words, her signing vocabulary was sufficient for her to tell me when she wanted to eat, play, or get down. She was able to point out a bird that I didn't see or an airplane that I didn't hear. Signing with our baby has helped our family bond and reduced our frustration by bridging the communication gap.
